At Chatmocks, we take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information, with full transparency about our privacy-first architecture.

To ensure your privacy, we designed our system so that:

• We do NOT have access to mockup content: The texts, names, dates, and images (uploads) you enter to create fake conversations are processed exclusively in your browser (Client-Side Processing).
• We do NOT store your creations: The final generated images and videos are not saved in our databases.

We collect only the minimum necessary to manage your account and subscription:

A. Account Data:

• Name and Email Address (for authentication and login).
• Password (stored in encrypted/hashed form).
• Profile picture (if you choose to use social login, such as Google/GitHub).

B. Transaction Data:

• Subscription status (Active, Canceled, Expired).
• Payment history and invoices.
• Note: Sensitive financial data (credit card number) is processed directly by our payment gateway (Stripe) and does not pass through our servers.

C. Technical and Usage Data:

• IP address and browser type (for security and access logs).
• Essential cookies to keep your login session active.

If you are a user in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your information based on:

• Contract Performance: To create your account and provide the service.
• Legal Obligation: To maintain tax and accounting records.
• Legitimate Interest: For website security and fraud prevention.

We use the collected data to:

• Provide platform access and authenticate your identity.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Send transactional emails (password recovery, payment confirmation).
• Improve site performance and fix bugs.

Chatmocks operates globally. Your personal data (account and subscription) may be transferred and processed on servers located outside your state, province, or country, including in the United States or Brazil, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We take measures to ensure that your data is handled securely and in accordance with this Policy and appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with service providers essential for Chatmocks operation:

• Payment Processors: (Stripe) to process charges.
• Analytics: (e.g., Google Analytics/Plausible) in anonymized form to understand site traffic.

We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember local preferences (such as "Dark Mode" or "Favorite Platform"). Since processing is local, we may use your browser's LocalStorage to save temporary drafts, which you can clear at any time through your browser settings.

We respect privacy rights under GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), LGPD (Brazil), and other applicable laws. Depending on your location, you have the right to:

• Access and Portability: Request a copy of your data in a readable format.
• Rectification and Deletion: Correct or request deletion ("Right to be Forgotten") of your data.
• Restriction and Objection: Object to data processing.
• Non-Discrimination (CCPA): We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
• We Do Not Sell Your Data: Chatmocks does not sell user personal information to third parties (as defined by CCPA).

We implement industry-standard security measures (such as SSL/TLS encryption in transit and password hashing) to protect your account data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Chatmocks does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent verification, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers immediately.
